This is our Smithsonian Murphy bed with an Inset desk. This style has beautiful raised panel doors. Our Smithsonian has a very rich look to it with fluted sides and rosettes in the top corners. We added an Inset desk to the face. The desk folds up and becomes part of the false door system on the face.
This is shown in Maple wood with a White Lacquer Finish.
We added the LED Inset Murphy Bed Lights. These lights can be used only when the bed is down. The lights are set on a three stage touch dimmer, so there is a low, medium, and high setting. The lights are also set on a tilt switch that allows the lights to automatically turn off when the bed is being raised.
To finish it out we added our Standard Crown and Standard Base Molding.
These have our Inset Bookcases. The Inset Bookcases can only be accessed when the bed is down. There are glass shelves. They are the perfect way for you or your guests to have somewhere to place your phone, glasses, or a drink during the night. At the bottom of the inset bookcases, there is pillow storage.
No hardware is shown on this style as the customer was going to install their own upon delivery.
