This is our Shaker Murphy bed with an Inset desk. We added an Inset desk to the face. The desk folds up and becomes part of the false door system on the face.
This is shown in Paint-Grade Maple wood with a White Lacquer Finish.
We added outset lights to overhang the desk. We upgraded the lights to four LED lights instead of two. They can also be used as a reading light when in the bed position. To finish it out we added our Mission Crown molding and Basic Base Molding.
The bookcases are slightly shorter than the bed and pushed back from the face. We have adjustable wood shelves on the top section. The lower section has two standard drawers and drink trays.
Hardware is our 1 ¼” Oil Rubbed Bronze Knobs for the face and for the bookcases.
