This is our Craftsman Murphy bed with an Inset desk. We added an Inset desk to the face. The desk folds up and becomes part of the false door system on the face. This particular style has our Single-fold Inset Desk.
Our Craftsman Murphy bed is very similar to our Shaker Murphy bed. If Oak wood is used, it is classified as our Craftsman. If Maple wood is used, it has more of a Shaker style look to it.
This is shown in Oak wood with a Natural stain.
We added LED Inset Murphy Bed Lights. These can be used when the bed is down. The lights are set on a three stage touch dimmer, so they have a low, medium, and high setting. They are also set on a tilt switch, so the lights automatically turn off when the bed is raised.
There is one 30” bookcase on the right-hand side. The top is adjustable wood shelves. The bottom has two file drawers.
This customer also wanted a 12” H Upper Bookcase. It has doors covering the shelving.
Hardware is our 3” Oil Rubbed Bronze Center Pulls on the Upper Bookcase and Face of the Murphy Bed. On the file drawers and faux drawers we did Oil Rubbed Bronze Knobs.
