This Jordan Murphy bed consists of four mitered raised panel faux doors to make up the face.

Along with the Murphy bed, there is a wood arm sofa. Once the cushions are removed, the Murphy bed can fold down in between the arms of the sofa. This is a neat feature to add in front of a Murphy bed – especially in a small room. This particular customer wanted additional storage underneath the sofa so we added two lift up sections that can be accessed by removing the cushions.
With our Sofa Murphy beds, we have to have some sort of “dead space” for the sofa arm to sit so that it doesn’t stick out into the room. On this Murphy bed we did our Inset Bookcases. They are 8” bookcases turned sideways so that they can only be accessed when the bed is down. This is an easy way to provide a place for you or your guests to set their drinks, glasses, or phone during the night.
One of the unique things we did on this model is we removed the header (top piece) to allow the Murphy bed to fit in a room with lower ceilings.
